Raúl Labrador Announces Candidacy for Governor
I’ll stand with Raúl.
Boise, ID -- Today, Raúl Labrador announced his candidacy for Governor of the state of Idaho.
“We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to propel the state forward,” said Labrador. “A once-in-a-generation opportunity to lead and to achieve the results that can only be reached through the application of conservative principles. That’s why today, it is my honor to announce my candidacy for Governor of the great state of Idaho. It’s time to unleash the raw potential of our state, to imagine a future that’s brighter and more prosperous than anything we have ever seen.
“What Idahoans want, more than anything, is to preserve and extend the blessings of liberty to all. And it is for liberty – and liberty’s promise of a better tomorrow – that I fight and we fight every day." In his speech, Labrador articulated his vision for an educational system that prepares kids for the 21st century and empowers teachers, not bureaucrats, reforms Idaho's broken tax code, and eliminates the barriers and bureaucracies that block Idahoans from working the jobs they are trained to do
“We have the responsibility to leave this state stronger than we found it. That’s why I’m running for Governor of Idaho. I will work hard every day to earn your trust to serve as your next governor. But I can’t do this alone. I’m asking you to once again join me. Join me in this journey to make Idaho the very best place to live, work, play, and raise a family. To start a business or retire. Let us unleash all that is possible when the government embraces and delivers on the promise of conservative principles. Together, we can bring forth a brighter Idaho for all of us.”
Raúl Labrador will be making campaign stops Wednesday at the American Legion Hall in Post Falls at 2:00 PM PDT and Thursday at Melaleuca in Idaho Falls at 12:00 PM MDT. For more information on these events, visit RaúlLabrador.com.
