IDAHO CHOOSES LIFE ENDORSES LABRADOR FOR GOVERNOR
I’ll stand with Raúl.
Boise, ID –Idaho Chooses Life, the state’s largest pro-life organization, endorsed gubernatorial candidate Raúl Labrador today.
“Raúl Labrador has earned the endorsement of Idaho Chooses Life to be Idaho’s next governor,” said David Ripley, Executive Director of Idaho Chooses Life. “His vigorous public defense of preborn children and stellar voting record sets him apart in this race. We know that Raúl will continue the fight to build a culture of Life if he is elected. He will help us defund Planned Parenthood and strengthen protections for women and families. We urge pro-Life Idahoans to join us in supporting Raúl Labrador.”
“I am humbled and honored to receive Idaho Chooses Life’s endorsement,” said Labrador. “There is nothing more important than defending the life of the pre-born, standing firm in defense of traditional families, and protecting our constitutional rights. I’ve championed these conservative causes my whole life. Not just as a member of the Idaho Legislature or as a member of Congress, but also as a father and member of my community.”
In Congress, Labrador has voted for many pro-life bills that have passed the House. These include the Pain Capable Unborn Child Act, which bans abortions after 20 weeks, and the Defund Planned Parenthood Act. He has a 100% rating from the National Right to Life Committee.
In stark contrast to Labrador’s consistent pro-life record, his opponent Brad Little cast the deciding vote in the Idaho Senate in 2005 in favor of a bill to increase public funds paid to Planned Parenthood.
Ahlquist donated the maximum amount allowed by law to pro-abortion Democrats, including top members of Hillary Clinton’s and Barack Obama's Idaho leadership teams.
Idaho Chooses Life was founded as a political action committee in 1996 to support pro-Life candidates for public office and to lobby for preborn children at the Idaho Legislature. It remains the only social conservative PAC registered in Idaho.
Raúl Labrador and his wife Becca are proud of their five children and recently became grandparents for the first time.
